    ist es möglich, die FW des 2820er auf das BMW Navi aufzuspielen um z. B. den MP3 Player zu nutzen?

    I have just checked through the BMW Navigator specs and there is no mention of MP3 anywhere - so it would appear that the BMW hardware version does not support this feature.

    Bearing that in mind if you decide to install the FW from the 2820 you may land up having other problems. Like the 2820 doesn't not have the cradle feature so it's possible that your cradle wouldn't work.

    But I am not a specialist in this area. Maybe just plugging in a mp3 via your audio system (baehr or the likes there of) could do the trick.
