Hallo Andreas,
Im Netz habe ich folgendes gefunden, vielleicht helfen die Ifos weiter : With the mapconverter of garmin and some new info in the installed
register the new map structure works now.
Have to do some more testing.
This is similar to the way the map files are stored on the Macintosh for
use with RoadTrip. There the structure is usr\Library\Application
Support\Garmin\Maps\City Navigator North America NT2009.gmap
With CN it is:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Garmin\Installed]
"CNEURONT2009"="C:\\ProgramData\\GARMIN\\Maps\\City Navigator Europe
NT 2009.gmap\\"
"RUOnroute_fietskaart1.51.0"=""
The RU in the second line makes the map visible.
The custom maps which I do have work fine on either the PC or the Mac.
The MapConverter utility creates .gmap files from traditional maps
installed on a Windows box for use on the Mac. Perhaps the same approach
would work on Windows also.
